Our Services O2 Diagnostics is an Independent Diagnostic Testing Facility (IDTF) which provides you with timely and accurate oximetry and holter monitor testing. We are Respiratory Care Practitioners and provide testing for DME’s and physicians. Overnight Oximetry: O2 Diagnostics works with NPF-Inc., A electronic encrypted oximetry testing system that is approved by Medicare and FREE for DME’s and physicians (www.npf-inc.com). It enables DME’s and physicians to act as a courier of medical equipment, delivering their own oximeter to the patient's home with O2 Diagnostics instructions so the patient can perform a self-administered overnight oximetry test (see CMS Change Request (CR) 3751, transmittal 173, Pub. 100-20). O2 Diagnostics is compliant with Medicare guidelines. We do not require a sign-up fee, contracts or annual fee. The testing results will be downloaded and faxed directly to you and the physician within a few hours of upload if all paper is complete. The software program is free. Simple Pulmonary Stress Test: A simple pulmonary stress test is a 6 minute walk test used to diagnose hypoxia and dyspnea on exertion. During the simple pulmonary stress test O2 Diagnostics Respiratory Therapist monitors and records patient’s heart rate, respiratory rate, blood pressure, oxygen saturation at rest and exertion, and dyspnea grade. We perform this procedure in the patient’s home and at their convenience. This test can be performed on oxygen and on room air. If the patient is already on oxygen we will test on the ambulatory oxygen system the DME company will provide so as to provide more accurate patient care and meet accreditation standards. Simple pulmonary stress test results will be available and faxed to the physician with-in 24 hours of test. Simple pulmonary stress testing is only available in Tennessee at this time. Oxyholter: The Oxyholter is a standard cardiac holter monitor with pulse oximetry which allows the physician to correlate cardiac and pulmonary issues. DME’s in conjunction with O2 Diagnostics can use Oxyholter to substantiate or fine tune the beneficiary’s oxygen requirements. The Oxyholter is set-up by O2 Diagnostics Respiratory Therapist and is designed for ease of use for the patient with large easy to read programmable soft keys, multi-line LCD, digital diary and several foreign language options.
